Why would you want to re-dose it? If you do a water change then add the prime to the new water...

I'd just do a 25% water change if you are still cycling.....

Daily 50% water changes will bring the levels down. You can't get away with just adding Prime and not doing water changes when cycling with fish.
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this to you but your tank is too small for 3 goldfish. They produce too much waste for that amount of water and get very big. It's recommended 20g's for the first gold fish and 10g's for each additional goldfish.

When you do your water change you mix 1 drop per gallon to the new water....Take out 25% to 50% of the water then replace it with the new water treated with prime...Does that make sense?

Anytime you do a water change just treat the new water with 1 drop of prime per gallon....This is how I always do my water changes....

A 5x dose is a dose of five times the amount of Prime you would normally add. So using the example Martinismommy provided earlier of 1 drop/gallon, a 5x dose would be 5 drops/gallon.

That said, I don't know that you really need to use that much. The standard dosage, combined with water changes, should be sufficient.

If you are showing a reading for either ammonia or nitrites, the best course of action is daily water changes/Prime treatment until such time as your ammonia and nitrite readings are down to 0ppm and your nitrate readings are between 5-20ppm. Cycling with fish in the tank can be a lengthy process, but the goal is to reduce or eliminate as much as possible your fishes' exposure to the toxic effects of ammonia and nitrites.
