Question: Opps... Forgot about the water softener

I brought one of my betta's home with him over christmas b/c I didn't think he'd be ok with the 2X a week feeding that the others will be getting over christmas. However when I re-filled his tank I forgot that we have a water-softener. The extra salt won't hurt him will it? I'll slowly move him over to the RO water now but just wanted to make sure I'm not going to be stressing him too much...
