There is a weird wiggly brownish worm in my betta tank, it looks somewhat segmented, around 5 mm in lenght, and It is attached to a bunch of brown slime in the glass, by the substrate!

Cannot take a pic, since I ran out of batteries... EWWW... what is it?

I going to vacuum it anyways eww...

Ok, I just killed it and took it out. It has a black head and brownish body, looking very much alike a mosquito larvae... but this thing was in a bunch of slime and buried in the substrate.... ewww...

update: the thing looks like it was hatching from a brown egg... if that helps at all.

nope, not at all. I'd still like to, but I didn't get any replies, and i couldn't figure it out by myself.

Nope, it was on my betta tank... Otherwise i would have linked it to the fish deaths... Ewwwww!

You probably guessed right about it being mosquito Larvae. You didn't get any answers because we didn't know either LOL
