Question: Nitrates in a cycled tank

In a cycled tank what should the nitrate and nitrite levels look like? I test every other day, right now. I have high levels in 3 of my tanks. 2 are cycled and the other is in a mini cycle. I will put up todays reading when they get done. I'm also cycling another tank (1 week today)

Nitrates should be between 5-10
Nitrites should be at 0

Even nitrate readings of 20 are acceptable. Anything higher IMO is too high and water needs to be changed more often. As Lucy said.. 0 nitrite and 0 ammonia always.
