weird things in Balthier's tank!

Ok, i took a closer look at balthiers tank and I saw these tiny white worm things, no bigger than a flea in lenght... (even smaller) They super skinny and move, but arent free swimming. They just crawl around, stuck to the aquarium glass...

I thought they would be planaria, but I've heard they are free swimming and caused by overfeeding. I dont overfeed balthier (I make sure he eats everything I give him) and these things arent free swimming. Is it because of the vitachem? garlic guard? attisons betta spa (I use only a few drops to help him with his bubble nests). How can I get rid of them?

-Thanks!

Hi Alessa, I had them when my tetra tank was fairly new, I just wiped them off when I didn't water changes. They just stopped appearing.
I'm sorry, I don't know what they are.

I have no idea.
I could never tell if they were actually moving or the filter flow was moving them.

Big help, huh? lol

i pretty much figured they are moving by themselves, since they do not move in the direction of the current... their movement is pretty erratic.

ok, I went out for dinner with my bf and when I came back they were almost all gone!
also Balthier seemed to be pretty apathetic about dinner... hmmmm...

I'll see if they dissapear completely with a good vacuum!

I would still say they are planaria, the description sounds spot on... they are probably "young" ones that havent grown big enough to really swim (its more like flipping around than swimming if you ever see them doing it anyway) or perhaps your water flow is to strong for them to go anywhere but on the glass, theres usually a bulidup of "slime" and bacteria on the inside glass that they could be eating... maybe try cleaning the glass with a magnet cleaner and vaccuum the gravel really good as everyone stated above
