Need some help!!!!!

Well here it short set up a 75gal tank 4 weeks ago. Used prime on water but did know 3/4 of a 250ml bottle was added due to a duh miss calutationI was cleaning sand and rocks. anyway I'm stuck after I figured that out I did a 50% water change with nothing added.Ohh this is a fishless cycle.Well the ammonia is 1.0, Nitrites 0, and nitrates are 5.0 using a API Master kits to test. The cycle is stalled and I don't know how to fix it without draining the tank and starting over. Ya I did use the old media filter from my 1yr old 29gal tank I think that how I have nitrates. How do I get the ammonia to 0 and when I do will the tank be truely cycled? The nitrites never got over.25 then to 0.Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another stalled cycle?

Seriously, it seems to be happening a lot lately.
Have you tested you tap water? How long has it been stalled?

I'd do some big water changes and get it down to 0.

Nitz has a thread about an article he read about the bacteria needing phosphates let me find it for you.

I don't know if it would help, but it'd be worth a try.

Edit: Here it is: http://www.fishlore.com/fishforum/aq...g-ammonia.html
