Bubbles...

Hi,

I've had my aquarium water running for a month now and already put some fish in (1 Cherry Barb & 1 Glowlight Tetra). The 2nd day after the fish was in, I noticed some bubbles hanging on the water, on the sides of the aquarium and on top of plants which touch the surface. I'm worried because I don't know whether they're just bubbles from the air, or something else. I don't know whether they affect my water and my fish. Please help!

I have notice klingers after water changes. Did you just change? I also have some on the surface as the aquariums, six, are running. They go away in time and no one has died from them. I am sure one of the more experienced fishkeepers can give you more, but my vote is don't sweat it... as long as you water is cycled and within parameters!!! Hope this boosts confidence.

I get lots of little bubbles in my tank now (and in the tank I used to have) when the water level drops too low from evaporation. The water coming in from the filter splashes a bit more and I start to get some tiny bubbles floating around. The more the level drops, the worse it gets. When I fill it back up, the bubbles go away.
