I have a large juwel 180 tank in my living room that is very cloudy!! Its been changed twice, ph tested and still it looks bad. The water absolutley stinks. My partner and I have both changed the water and it goes the same. I tried to test the ph and i never understood it. Im not blonde so its def not that!! Plus I have a 2 foot tank in my sons room which is crystal clear. I've got a catfish , gourami's x2, an angel fish and a plec in the big tank and still its clouding over.

Please can someone help - otherwise i feel that we're gonna have to give up on it

How long has the tank been running?
Have you tested ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate?
How much of the water are you changing at a time?
New tanks often are cloudy and smell up until the point that the nitrogen cycle completes. I saw in your other thread that this started when you medicated the tank. Perhaps the medication sent the tank into a new cycle.
