i have a 40L tank in my room..
i went on hollidays for a week.. and let my sister take care of the tank,
when i got back home, i got my water tested and amona was at 7.0
now surely a few fish dies in the next few days, i bought amtrite downs
it killed the amonia fairly quickly, but now i got huge amounts of nitrite and nitrate..
ive tryed to do my research so i went to a few different aquarium shops,
most say just buy cycle is the best coz it has a whole heap of good bacteria,
and it kills all the rest of it, and some say amtrite down is the way to go??
what u guys recon is the better solution?

Water changes. I do not trust any of the supposed bacterial additives.

and did 2 water changes in the past week
