You might be able to put 2 dwarf otos in that tank.

I thought bettas needed about 10G?

I like to put bettas in at least 5g, but a 2.5g can work, if necessary.. (the gallon per 1" of fish guideline).

Yeah. Not that I am anyone who should talk about bettas, but I do have a single male betta in a 2.5 gallon tank. He seems content enough in there, although I would like to move him into a larger tank. He uses all 2.5 gallons of that tank though, swimming all over it. And, just thought I would throw this in there, if you do put a betta in there, don't put any other fish in with it. 2 gallons isn't big enough for the betta to have his territory and share with another fish.

They have these fantastic teeny little tanks at our lfs that have been thriving. They have these teeny plants (live) and shrimps. They are beautiful little tanks. I've actually had a yet for them, but can't figure out how to justify the cost.

Tell you what - you can't come up with ideas, I'll take the tiny tank off your hands.
