| Hypothetical stocking Right,
I am getting another big tank in a couple of months (around the 200g mark) and have no plans with it yet, if it was your tank what would you stock it with? I will admit I love the look of cichlids but I also want the tank to look busy.
I look forward to your ideas |

| I was thinking it could be cool to start with 2 fish (1m 1f) and let them breed to fill the tank so it grows as I do. |

| Noooooo!!
Large american cichlids!!
You could have OScars, JD's, Firemouths, Cons.
Or a breeding pair of Red Devils, or a pair of Midas.
Or a pair of Flowerhorns. |

| Oh I'd get eartheaters!!! Maybe a large group of geophagus tapajos orange heads. Or go with several groups of gymnogeophagus. I think they can be kept in community tanks so it would be a busy tank. |

| She already has a group of Geophagus sp. 'red head tapajos'.
Gymnogeophagus would be great, if you are able to do a cool down period in the winter.

| Well, now that I've looked at her aquarium info, I would move the fish from the 125 into the 200g and add more Clown Loaches, Tapajos, Barbs, etc to fill out each group. and then use the 125 for a few groups of gymnos. That would be awesome! |
