| | Fish Helper | If your putting angels you cant put guppies because the will fin nip and with kribs they can nip at both angel and guppy
I recommend
2 Dwarfs
3-4 Bolivians or German Blue Ram (1 Male Rest Female)
3-4 Angels (1 Male Rest Female)
6 Cory or 6 Kuhli Loach
4-6 Platy
Or if you don't want babies go with all female. Last edited by ynaggo; October 31st, 2009 at 05:16 PM.

| | Fish Mentor | I agree that the angels would be a danger to the guppies.
However, you could have one krib, one gourami, and one ram there with no problems. |

I am going to put all of them that are left after I give away some in the big tank with a little birth control as in the krip, ram and DG.
Thanks much as always for your help............... |

| | Fish Keeper | Can't females reproduce a few times without a male present
If I am remembering this correctly then getting one lone female may lead to fry anyhow.

Brian | They can - as they can store sperm inside their bodies for about 6months to a year. But they must have been in contact with a male for this to happen, obviously.
I'd also like to second BolivanBaby's adivce - 'one krib, one gourami, and one ram' would work well. |

So I am glad this will work. I am also considering a small school of something maybe. Do you think this will work as well.
thanks much |

thanks much | I think that in a 72gal then another small school wouldn't be pushing it at all! What sort of fish where you thinking of? |

| | Fish Helper | Yeah but it really depends what shoaling fish you want, be careful some can fin nip.
You can get - Harlequin Rasboras, Black neon tetra, Cardinal Tetra or Lemon Tetra IMO |

| | Fish Mentor | You could definitely fit a school of smaller fish in that tank. Anything particular you're interested in?
Some rummynose tetras would add some flair if they catch your fancy. |

| | Fish Keeper | I have 3 platies, 5 cories, 2 danios and I will keep about 6-8 guppies ( I am having a hard time deciding which ones to keep). As I give away the guppy fry I am going to see if anyone wants the danios as well. That should leave me with about 15 fish plus the krib, ram, gourami that I want to add. |
