I am moving my two tiny comets (<2" right now) and two dojo loaches into a 37G. I keep them at 78F, which they seem to like. I'm looking to add some colorful friends (just a couple at a time), but I don't want anything that's going to cause trouble for anybody. I'm planning on a pleco (a clown if I can find one; anybody have any suggestions of where I might look? My local pet store ). Among some other small guys, I'd LIKE to add a few male fancy guppies, some zebra danios, or some cardinal tetras, and a female
betta. I've read that male guppies are fine when kept without females, as long as they have enough space, but that they can harass other female fish that are too similar to them. Would the danios or the tetras fall under that "too similar heading"? Also, I know some "fancy" male fish will harass fish with fancy fins. Would the guppies bother a female betta?
Thanks!
