How many female guppies are safe to keep together ?

Depends on the size of the tank.
They're very calm, so as many as you could stock a tank with would be fine.

I agree with Amanda. They don't really fight unlike the males when they are competing for mates. So loads of them would be fine depending on the size of the tank Planning to start a guppy clan?

Ive started a clan. At the moment I have 4 males in a 20 long and one of them has gotten a couple chunks taken off his tale. I put some stress coat in this morning.
I have a 10 gallon I could put the males I have now in. And fill the 20 L with the females.
What're the thoughts on this?

I have 3 males in a 20 without any problems...of course they have 2 girls in there with them.
