so in my tank i have which is a 29G i have 7 albino corys and a pearl gourami... its looking a little bare since i gave my friend my platys ( she wants to breed them and has lots of tanks around her house that she wants platys for lol)

anyways my LFS got in some very young dwarf rainbows that are adorable and i was wondering if i could get some for my tank. do you think i would have room for them?
if so how many? and what ratio of males to females is good? and would they work well in my high pH well water i have?

i have no experience with rainbows, but i think you could add maybe 6-7 how much GPH does your filter have?

You could definitely have them. Most fish acclimate to different PH levels, they'll just need to be acclimated slowly. I was always told 1 male 5 females.

my filter has 170 gph

so you think a group of 6 would be ok not to overstocked ?

You'll be perfectly fine adding them. They won't overstock your tank.

im so happy last month they we're $50 for 3 and when i went in today to my LFS to just "look" around i saw very young ones that are $18 for 3 ... im so excited now!
