Ok well I was gonna pick up a ten gallon tank from my cousin who doesn't need it, and I was thinking to get two dwarf puffers and mabye some ottos. Would this be ok? Or any other suggestions would be nice. Oh and on a side note; Is using a sponge (I run two) from my one aqua clear filter and putting it in the new filter an effective way of cycling? Thanks.

Yes on the cycling!!!..adding a sponge from another filter is great if it is an extra...or squeeze/rinse your filter into the new one. And since you mentioned "sponge" also sponge filters in general are execellent....I keep one going in every tank and add one of them if I want to start cycling a new tank.

Sorry dont know much about puffers but there are those here that will get to you for help. Also check the stickys about puffers....loads of info there too.

Check with your LFS, sometimes they'll order them for you.

The only problem is I don't know where a LFS is in my area. Anyone here in Vegas know where one is? Oh and would the tank be large enough for three ottos and two DPs?
