Ok so right now i have samson and AL in the 32. AL is a CAE which is going back to the LFS. I just want to know what else i could put in the tank... Something that will get along with my Jelly bean( convict and parrot hybrid) so i want to know what else i could put with him. NO more cichlids. HE did not handle the last guy well... so something fast... i guess
hmmm... rainbows would be pretty
tiger barbs are semi-agressive
depending on the dimessions of your tank you could try an RTS but they like a tank around 32" long... so a tall tank wouldn't work for them...
kuli loaches might be an idea depending on your substrate.
a paradise fish would be flashy and would hold his own as well (could become agressive with age so keep in mind)
just some idea's. Not sure what you'd be interested in.
the tank is 36 inches long, 12 inches across and 17-18 inches high( i dont remember).
a rainbow is something that i kept on the side since i really like them... i will research though. Then i could do:
1 jelly bean- 5-6 inches
1 rainbow- 6 inches
and
??------?
Rainbow fish like schools and a 36" tank would be great for that.
Another idea would be the RTS if you're tank is long and you're looking to under-stock. (can only have one of them )
well i went to the LFS and boy what a dissapointment.
First off i went to check out their sharks. i saw rainbows, red tails and some balas. So i asked my parents if i could get a rainbow and they said no. So very angry i walked over to the planted tank to find a dying discus. That was even more disappointing. SO i said to the employee: "He's dying", and he said," well there's nothing we can do." so then i said... " well if there's nothing you can do, can i take him?" and they said, we dont have permission but you can call the owner" so i called him and he didnt answer. I called him a couple times. Then i went back into the store and they said they were gonna medicate. So i said, what for? and they didnt answer... so i left my info and my phone number in case they give up...
hoping the guy makes it. He looked like a wild caught one too...
anyway, my parents told me that fate would decide on the fish. SO i walked back to the shark tank and guess what i see?
a RAPHAEL CATFISH!!! oooh i was so excited! i LOVE that catfish, i have always wanted one, and my LFS never get any. SO i told my dad, and he loved it! but he said no.
so now im trying to find my allowance and see if i have enough money to go back and get one, so we'll see. HE is really cute!
just in case some of you dont know what a raphael catfish is, here is what it looks like:
