Aquarium Stocking Questions Use this board for aquarium stocking questions. Do NOT follow the 1 inch per 1 gallon of aquarium water recommendation that you will often hear at the local fish store. Stock your freshwater aquarium lightly and sensibly and if you need help with stocking your tank post your questions on this aquarium stocking board.

I curently have a 10g with two female fancy guppies and was wondering if adding one or two killifish nothobranchius rachovii would be a good idea?

hi, my understanding is if killifish can eat it they will. nothobranchius rachovii say upto 2 inch which would match a guppy.
I have never kept them before so i dont know what actual size they get to......I had a zebra danio that was 3 times the sze of the rest so never fully believe the statistics unless its someone who has actually kept them. I am sure there will be some people on here though that could help more.

Killifish, to my knowledge, are more aggressive than guppies. They can make up communities of other similarly sized killifish, though, if they have enough space and hides. But Guppies are, too small, too peaceful, and would not be able to hold their own around a killifish.
