Aquarium Stocking Questions Use this board for aquarium stocking questions. Do NOT follow the 1 inch per 1 gallon of aquarium water recommendation that you will often hear at the local fish store. Stock your freshwater aquarium lightly and sensibly and if you need help with stocking your tank post your questions on this aquarium stocking board.

i think they are, but if they spawn(which i want) they will be agressive to the FM,so i'd rather have the angels be on their own with smaller fish..

well it depends on where you live
i used to live in sonora (border with arizona) and it almost never rained. Now, i live in queretaro, where it is super uber windy and rains almost once or twice a week. it doesnt get very warm though..
if you were gonna move to mexico, i would suggest queretaro cleanest place in mexico, smog free and has many internationaly habitants ( my neighbors are german, and most are american) so you can get used to the mexican atmmosphere and then you could move around.. the people are totally different though they are hipocrites most of the time to tell you from my own experience

idk, if so, you can do a watercahnge with cooler water. This resembles rain water triggering their mating ritual. I dont think they need rainwater, i will check though

You could set up a small siphon that leads to a small drip plate!
though idk if youd wanna set that all up. A cool water wc would prob be just as effective, and more efficient.

good luck tony..

oh and a cooler water change does replicate rainfall, and triggers breeding activity in many species of fish, including angels and many catfish including cories.

run i siphon from the tank to a small chiller, which then leads up to a drip plate postioned to the top of the tank, which simulates rain!

of course this isnt a good idea at ALL, since eventually the whole aquarium would be chilled, and would be very expensive!

lol, again, a wc might be smarter!
