I plan to start fishless cycling my 46G bowfront this weekend. My current stocking plan is:

6 GloFish
12 Neon (or Cardinal) Tetras
5 Albino Cory Cats

Does this sound OK? I am nearing the end of a fishless cycle on my 12G nano cube. I plan on using it to QT each batch of fish before placing them in the 46. (Will probably do the Tetras in two groups of six.)

I prefer cardinal tetras to neons, but either choice would work great in your tank. Your stocking plan looks great to me.

maybe a an angel couple.. or gouramis and some tetras and a huge herd of cory's at the bottom

hehe sorry, you could also just put a couple of guppies and watch them fill your tank in a few months
