I currently have the following in my tank:

5 Bloodfin Tetras
6 Colombian Tetras
6 Orange/Flame Von Rio Tetras
2 Spotted Corys
6 Albino Corys (rescued from local "chain" store. that's the reason why I have so many. I may have some friends that may take a couple.)

Is there anything else anyone can suggest getting? I was looking more for a meduim sized centerpiece or a pair of medium sized fish.

What would you guys put in with this mix.

i would say nothing, with that list your at exactly 55" of fish, which is perfect for the tank

My nephew is going to start a tank soon(29 Gallon) and he really likes the looks of the Colombian Tetras and the Albino Corys. I may just surprise him with the Colombians and 3of the Corys for his birthday. That will open up some "inches" for other fish in my 55gal. I should have included that into my original post.

well if you take off those you have 21" to play with
Maybe a pair of rams or something would be nice, or maybe a pair of angel

a pair of german blue rams or bolivian rams would be great, so would a pearl gourami or an angel, but if you get an angel make sure you get a juvenile so that (s)he won't eat your tetras!

oh, and a blood red parrot would be great too, especially with the extra inches that you'll have
