i have a 20 gallon tank (i know... alittle small for a parrot but im getting a bigger one soon i promise.) my parrot is around isnt very agressive at all. i keep him in my 20 with 2 sailfin mollies, 5 balloon mollies, 3 corys, and one kissing gourami. but i am getting rid of my gourami because he had a friend and now is depreased since he died so i was going to give him back to my store with the other kissing fish cuz i dont want another kissing fish.. to suseptible to disease...
so my question is what can i put in my tank that is good with parrots? i really want to try a badis cuz we got some really nice young ones in at work.

I have silver $'s with mine and they all get along fine.

with the fish you have now, its on overload...parrots have a ton of waste just on their own and get to 6-7 inches..which equals more like a 12 inch fish bioload wise...if you get a bigger tank, they love some of their own..the really interact with other parrots...its almost like they are making fun of one another for being so different LOL .....some br's are agressive as in chasing in nature and being territorial, but because of their deformities in their jawline , they cant bite or do damage to fish other than maybe a neon tetra..and that would be pushing it....so pretty much anything can go with them as long as they arent picked on by others

I wouldn't add anything else right now. Wait until you get a larger tank, then you can add some more.

I have my parrot in with zebra danios, blind cave tetras, cories, and a dwarf gourami. Anything can really be with them, as long as the other fish isn't aggressive. You just have to have a large enough tank to fit them.

i want to get a 75gallon within 6 months.. eventually i want a 300 gallon
