Ok my aunt is giving me a 30x24x24 tank. Turns out its a 75 gallon. I am excited. I wanna put Killfish, Angelfish, Discuss, Gouramis, and some schooling tetras. Any input on these being together. I read about them and it says they can. Also any others I want a colorfull tank for sure. So if you got any colorfull fish in mind?

i wouldnt mix the discus with everything else, if you want discus it should be just the discus in there, as they require very specific water parameters and much higher temperatures than angels/killifish/gouramis/tetras etc.

cichlids are very colorful, and to give you an idea here is a "cookie cutter" 75 gallon cichlid tank

I just found out its a 55 gallon. So if I didn't get the Discuss every one else would be fine?

you might have some aggression issues with the angels towards the tetras, and depending on the type of gourami you might have some aggression there too. i'm not sure about the killifish though.

as far as gouramis, the pearls are definitely the most peaceful.
