My friend, Mike, just set up an old fish tank he had lying around.
He's guessing it to be about 20 gal. He'll be cycling with TSS.

My question is:
If you could put anything in this tank; what would it be?

two betta's 10gal each :P or 4-5 corys + 5 tetras or 1 DG and 4-5 corys or five tiger barbs or ..... lol i could go on it all comes down to personal preference i guess

First, take measurements and use Fish Lore's calculator to see what size it is.

Hmmm... If I could find one, I'd for sure get a dwarf or figure 8 puffer! They are adorable and have long lives!

Just assume it's 20 gal. If it's more, than it'll be understocked. That will be good for him. Less work.

If I had an extra spare 20 gallon lying around and another heater to use, I would put some African killifish in there with a bunch of anubias.

anything? well..........i'd either go with two or three dwarf puffers, an axolotl (not a fish technically but still awesome), a pair of angels, a german blue ram 8 rummynose tetras and 3 or 5 otos.....there are so many possibilities!

Anything?! I'd put in 1 Marbled headstander, 1 African butterfly fish, 1 Bristlenose pleco & 4 Corys.

First though, measure the tank and use the calculator on this site to find out how big the tank acctualy is.
