| Semi-Aggressive "Community" I'm going to pick up my 75 gallon tomorrow night. I posted another thread, as I thought I was going to do African Cichlids, but I've decided that with school and my other commitments that the fry would be too much to deal with, so I'm going to go with a non-breeding (at least that's the goal) semi-aggressive tank. I've got a tentative stocking list that I'd like you guys to comment on, as thus far I've only dealt with small, peaceful fish.
1 Opaline Gourami
1 Pink Kissing Gourami
1 Leopard Ctenopoma
1 Bristlenose Pleco
1 Black Ghost Knife
8 Boesemani Rainbow
and I'm considering the possibility of an African Butterfly Fish since everything else is going to be at least the same size, if not larger, but I'm not sure if that would be a good idea. I chose the rainbows because they're large, so will be avoided as snacks, as most of the fish that have an aggressive nature are most aggressive with their own species. Please tell me if I've made an error somewhere, and any experienced insight on these fish would be great!
EDIT: I also love the sharks, but I didn't think that would be a good idea to mix the territorial nature of a shark and a ghost knife. Is that correct? |
