What kind of fish can I have?

I have a freshwater, 76 degree tank with a few Gouramis and a dwarf frog. I have room for about 3 more inches of fish and I was wondering what small fish would do well with just 1 or two of them in the tank and would not bother, or be bothered by the Gouramis. Thanks so much!

It would still be helpful to know the tank size and amount of fish in there at the moment

it is 8 gals, it has two dwarf guaramis (2 inches each) and a Dwarf frog (1.5 inches). It is 75 degrees and has plants and a cave. Thanks!

the one inch / gal is only use as a guideline, having two D.G in a tank that size is going to start territorial disputes between the two, its over-stocked as is, if you can get a larger tank that would be great.

When creating a thread, please be sure to choose the correct forum. I've moved this from the welcome to stocking questions.

I agree with the above posters. Have you read the link I provided about the nitrogen cycle?
Having two Gouramis in tank could also be whats bothering your ADF.

Thanks guys, I'm now looking for a larger tank. My question now is how would the gouramis be bothering the Dwarf Frog, I've barely seen them approaching him and they definetly haven't attacked him or nipped or anything! Thanks.

I'm glad the fish are leaving your frog alone.
Just keep your eyes out for any aggression. It's more likely to happen in an overstocked tank.

If you're using the 1" guide line the frog counts as 2.5" because of it's bio load.
