Hi all
I am upgrading my tank to a 55g, I have already got
1 bala shark 6"
2 silver dollars 5" each
3 bosemani rainbows 2" each

What fish would go well with these fish?
Would a clown loach be suitable?

I wouldnt recomend clown loaches in a 55g they get quite huge!

How about 2 more silver dollars, and bristlenose pleco?

They are a cool fish i dont have much experience with gouramis so wouldnt be able to say wether they would be ok with the current population.

As far as temperament the gourami would go well with your current stock. Gouramis love plants, but silver dollars will demolish them, so I would highly recommend getting some fake plants to make your gourami comfortable. I just got some floating water sprite over the weekend and my male powder blue loves it, so you may also want to take a fake floating plant into consideration too.

why not an upside-down catfish? just dont get a pictus because the get HUGE.
