Tell me if I'm crazy and off the mark here,
Tanks size: somewhere over 40 gal (With max length I can get) Ideally a 55
Decor: Moderate to heavily planted with driftwood and numerous caves
Occupants: 1 red tail shark (this one will be in there . )
1 Paradise fish
4 splendid rainbows
5 ottos (algae control)

Would this work? I know that the RTS would be terrirotial, but I know that he's compatable with rainbows. The ottos would likely be ignored. The paradise fish would be the ? in this equation. I'm thinking that with the tank sufficiantly long the rainbows would still have room to school without getting into his space too much. He doesn't look enough like a RTS to cause problems there...
What do you guys think?

The Male paradise fish I had(29g tank) was very aggressive with everything I had that swam at the same level as he did. Then I moved him to a tank alone and added a female they spawned and I had to move him. From the one experience I have had I have to say they are just gorgeous and personable fish but I fear for your rainbows.

Hmmm.... I was wondering b/c I know that a 10 gal is large enough for a juvi paradise fish but they need something closer to a 20 gal when they mature. Since my RTS is going to be getting a larger tank (around christmas time I think) I was thinking that I could add him in. But I'm more attached to the idea of Rainbows then I am the paradise boy so maybe I'll leave him out....
How about a female paradise fish? Same agressive issues or not so much?
