NOTE** DONT USE MY AQUARIUM INFO AS REFERENCE!!

I really have a huge interest in the columbian tetra; beautiful coral red tail with an iridescent blue sheen across the shimmering silver body, beautiful fish overall. And my LFS just brought in a new stock of fancy guppies that I fell in love with. I understand columbians can be nippy, but I plan on keeping a group of 6 or 7, and I want to be able to keep fancy guppies. Are the two compatible?

hard to say i have colombians and they are similar to tiger barbs in that if you get a large enough school theyll take their agression out on each other rather than tank mates

however they are nippy and they do bug my raphael cat from time to time
