Is my setup ok?

Its a 90 gallon tank. I have a 2 inch female convict, 2 inch clown pleco, a 3 inch Jack Dempsey male and a 5 1/2 inch female. The male shows interest in the female but she is much bigger so he doesn't push her too much. The filters are:

EHEIM 2236 Ecco External Canister Filter ("up to 80 gallons")
The Fluval 305 MultiStage Canister Filter ("up to 70 gallons")
Aquaclear Powerhead 50 w/filter ("up to 50 gallons")
Aquaclear Powerhead 110 w/filter ("up to 187gallons")
2 large heaters set at 78 degrees

Will this set up last in the long run? How often should I change the filters and water change? Do I need to get rid of the convict or pleco? Also I noticed that my dempseys are pale in color. I have a feeling it might be the playsand substrate, its very light colored. Would dark substrate help?

Hey thanks for the reply. Yeah I've cycled it with the powerheads for some time (months) with the convict and I added the Fluval and Eheim to an already running tank. They have been running for a week or so and I added the fish one at a time with the female jack being the latest addition (today)

I am a lake malawi cichild person, so I cannot advise you there...
you are def there w/ the filters..wow... thats a lot of filters! I know personally the eheims are wonderful for not needing a lot of maintence, maybe once a month take it apart and rinse the media in old tank water, I would do the same with the other filters. The eheims flowrate will slow down when it needs cleaned... I would also take the eheim tubing off and clean it as well, I have 3 eheims that I do that to. I love those filters!
I have heard a lot of great things about the fluvals as well, if I get another large tank I plan to give a fluval a whirl!

I am a 2 times a week water changer, I vaccum once a week and do a reg water change once a week.

Has your tank cycled yet?
