angels are better off in singles or shoals of 3+. They will let each other know who the top-dog (uhh... top-fish) in the tank is, so the dominant fish will bully the weaker one constantly. A red tailed shark could work, but is better off for the larger tank as they do get quite large and territorial. Both angels and sharks are vibrant active fish, but here's some better, less risky species to choose from:
