Aquarium Stocking Questions Use this board for aquarium stocking questions. Do NOT follow the 1 inch per 1 gallon of aquarium water recommendation that you will often hear at the local fish store. Stock your freshwater aquarium lightly and sensibly and if you need help with stocking your tank post your questions on this aquarium stocking board.

I'm really sorry to hear you lost your frog.

Part of fishkeeping is learning to research they types of aquatic creatures that you'd like and make sure you have the proper equipment and resources to best take care of them.

A lot of members have lost aqua pets due to lack of knowledge. The key is to learn from those mistakes and try not to repeat them.

Good luck.

Thank you. I did do SO much research before I got ANY of my aquatic animals. And the pet store guy was like "How much research did you do?!?" Because I was explaning to my mom why we could not get a type of fish! I was kinda talkative! Well it least my other fish are fine. God bless them! Ill talk to you later! bye

I dont want to sound rude, but if you had done your research, you would have known 5 gallons arent enough for any of the animals you have there, or would have know that having a test kit is vital, or that whenever adding so many creatures at once in such a small space will most definately throw you into a mini cycle, which is most likely what killed your frog, not the mollie. You would have also known that people at the stores want your money, and will probably tell you a whale will in a 5 gallon just to sell it to you.

I am really sorry, we really tried to help you, but you never answered our questions.

I tired but im not as old as everyone im younger but im not saying my age! Anyway i did answer some but hes gone and the first time i put him in he swam and swam and was having the time of his life! He was fine till morning! But i only have three fish in there and one is a baby (so small it took my 5 minutes to find him!) And the other is pretty tiny and the black molly is not BIG but is not SMALL about closer to small than big. And my tank is perfect right now you should see how fast my molly swims! She is soooooo happy (and hiper!) Well its okay how do i end this thread?
