What fish can i put in a 10 gallon???
What kinds of fish can i stock in a 10 gallon tank it can either be a tank with one single centerpeice fish in it or it can be a 10 gallon community tank.
So please list what kind of fish and how much of that fish can i put in a 10 gallon tank. My tank has been cycled already. thank you!

Or 2 bettas - you can divide a 10 gal. nicely with a divider from Petsmart.

I would either put a group of six harliquen rasboras or any other small schooling tetras in there or a couple of guppies and cories.

Endler's would be a good choice.
A betta would be another (My wife really loves her 10g betta tank).
A brackish tank could keep a couple of bumblebee gobies.
A small group of neon, cardinal, or black neon tetras could live in a 10g tank, but they are pretty fragile fish.

Not much can go in a 10 gal. You could have a shrimp tank. Or...a dwarf gourami.

Okay, leaving out all forms of livebearers, as well as bettas, your options become extremely limited.
The tiny tetras (there are a few beyond the ones I listed above), bumblebee gobies, possibly a single dwarf gourami, I'm sure there are a few others, but the biggest problem you have is simply that most of the smaller fish need schools to be healthy, presenting a collective bioload greater than what a 10g can handle.

* 3-5 lamprologus multifasciatus
* 1 dwarf puffer
* A school of 5-6 danio kerri, or zebra danio, or leopard danio, etc.
I'm sure there are many more options, but those just come to mind immediately.

That's what I've been doing - lol. I still vote a divided betta tank. They're cool to look at, 2 bettas in one tank! I have one, pics in my album if you want to take a look.

Any of the small rift cichlids, such as the julii species (ornatus, ocellerus, etc) should work.
