Hi, I am planning the setup of my new 55 gal. tank. Heavily planted.

I'd like to put in some Congo tetras, cardinal tetras, common hatchetfish, cory's, otos.

My questions and my guesses....
What would be a good number and what sexes for the Congos?(3 of each)
How many cardinals(10) and how many hatchets(8) for a good school?

Doing the math, this looks like too much fish for this tank.
Congos 2.5"F, 3.5"M x6=18"
Cardinals 1.5" x10=15"
Hatchets 1.5" x 8=12"
Corys 2"x6=12"
otos 1.5"x6=9"

I need some suggestions

6 of any schooling fish is good.

Hatchets are more like 2".

I would say that's stocked!
