Aquarium Stocking Questions Use this board for aquarium stocking questions. Do NOT follow the 1 inch per 1 gallon of aquarium water recommendation that you will often hear at the local fish store. Stock your freshwater aquarium lightly and sensibly and if you need help with stocking your tank post your questions on this aquarium stocking board.

couple more fish

i have in my tank now
6 glowlight tetras
3 blue rams (1m 2f)
1 angelfish
1 clown loach
1 clown pleco

interested in:
-a second clown loach
-a small school of small tetras that would go with the glowlights, but school seperately maybe (i like Rummynose and Bloodfin Tetras)
-a krib
-a cockatoo cichlid
-Fairy Cichlid (Neolamprologus brichardi)
-Raspboras (harlequin and Dwarf.. although Dwarf might be too small)

any recommendations or other ideas

The clown loach is a bad idea. They get much to big for a 35gal, and are very active. They need at least a 75gal. If you take him back to the store, you will have enough space for a further 5" of fish. I wouldn't get any more dwarf cichlids, so I would up the Glowlight school to 8.

i was looking at animal-world and they said clown loach only got to 6.5" usually in captivity and no smaller than a 30 gallon for them..

Animal world is not one of the best fish sites around. Loaches online (www.Loaches online.com) is the best place for loaches, www.aquahobby.com is great as well. Look at loaches online's clown loach profile, you'll see what I mean. This place is a legend though!
