So, I've been asked by my best friends' parents to stock two 10 gallons for their classrooms. One is a kindergarten teacher, the other a 6th grade teacher. I was thinking of putting a betta in each tank, a kid any age would appriciate that. But what else should I add in? Or do you have any other ideas for either tank?

I would do a betta and 3 cories. There really isn't much else you could put in there with a betta other than ottos.

or even some neons..they are a hoot for kids to watch schooling around

That's what I was thinking. For the young kids I may do a school of neons. Then for the 6th graders do a divided 10 gal. with 2 male bettas.
