my friends really need to get themselves one of these accounts on here. anyways, I have a friend who's in a situation like mine, but further along. He has his tank cycled and ready to go, and he would like to add the following, knowing that these fish give off a considerably small amount of waste:

10 Zebra Danios
6 Silver Hatchets
5 Bronze Cories
6 Kuhli Loaches
1 Red Tailed Shark

would this still be acceptable to the bioload intake?

BTW, the tank is also 50 gallons

Looks pretty good. The only one I don't know about is the shark, just because I don't know anything about them.

I think it looks cool also...just not all at once..and not sure on the shark either but I know rainbow sharks are very territorial and mean..or at least mine is...the bugger!

maybe change the danios to something else so that the top isnt so crowded. everytime I see danios they are always at the top of the tank. get something for the middle of the tank like a school of small tetras or rasboras. just my

Actually I've found my zebra danios are rarely at the top - they seem to love going everywhere but are most often seen bottom mid.

Afraid I can't say anything about the shark, I would look into it more since I know they can be a bit aggressive. I've only looked into tiger barbs, hatchetfish and plecos as tank mates. If I recall correctly the sharks tend to stick to the bottom so I'm not sure how they'll do with fun loving cories and loaches.
