Back down to a 10g

I lost my poor Misa now - I really can't figure out what happened to her so I'll be tearing the tank down to disinfect. I was thinking, I could move Vash from his 5g in my room to the 10g downstairs but I love having him up there with me all the time. So after I get it set up again I'm just going to move my killifish fry over and let them grow out there until they are large enough. With soon to be 6 adult killifish, 2 angels and 4 guppies I doubt I'm going to have to worry about any more fry.

I was wondering though - I really don't want to tear the tank down again but I really don't want to get another betta. I was thinking I might finally beable to look into dwarf puffers but I haven't seen any in my area for awhile. I've a few stores I want to check out now that my brother needs to get his driving hours ^^; but I know the changes of me finding what I want are very slim.

I'm really just looking for a single fish, maybe a pair or trio but ideally I'd like just one. I'll be switching the substrate to sand and going back to using my greek decorations with fake hygrophila. I know a 10g is very limited but always worth a shot.

Dwarf Puffers need 10 gal. each, so that may be an option if you could find one. A Gourami would be beautiful in a tank by itself.

Definally going to keep an eye out for dwarf puffers - I wont be tempted to add anything else to the tank then ^^; Honestly I've always had my eyes on dwarf gouramis and I'm not exactly sure why I never ended up getting one. I'll have to revisit that idea since I orginally wanted to set up a sandy themed tank with a trio before I found out a 10g is really only enough room for one. Thanks ^^
