| If you're cycling with fish, you must do daily testing and water changes to keep the ammonia levels down.
Keep a log of your results.
Using Prime as your water conditioner will help because it neutralizes the ammonia.
Good luck. |

| What're your readings for ammonia, nitrites and nitrates and what are you using to test? |

| Two days isn't nearly enough time for the cycle unless you've seeded the tank with used filter material from an established tank.
Some members have had a quick cycle using Bio-Spira, but I don't have personal experience with it. |

| I know it's hard to wait it out. Just keep up the daily water changes, get yourself a test kit, the API is highly recommended.
First your ammonia will rise, in a few weeks you'll see the nitrite levels rise and the ammonia levels start to drop. After a few more weeks you'll see the nitrate levels rise and the nitrite levels drop.
When you having readings of 0 on both ammonia and nitrites with some nitrates showing, your cycle is done.
Good luck. |

| If you dont want to go through the entire cycle process, you can speed it up with tetra safestart, it replaced bio-spira. I've had good results with it. |

I'm sorry to be so blunt.
David also had a good sugestion. |

then your fish will inevitably die.
the only solution is daily 50% water changes, and buying a test kit for monitoring water parameters.
and I think you guys should talk so that we all can understand |

| If I was you, this is what I'd do:
Get a liquid test kit, the API master test is AMAZING.
Test the water and do a 50% water change (Test water before water change) every day. This isn't that hard if you have a siphon - when I accidentally stalled my filter on the 7.5gal I was doing 2 50%s a day and it was easy!
DON'T add any more fish... If anything the fish you have are bad choices and overstocked. |

If they all made it through a fish cycle they would be truly lucky fish! |
