Changing things

Have made some changes to my 46g Bowfront in the last month and need some advice.

Changes:
Added Magnum 350 canister with ceramic rings
Cleaned glass top for better light
Removed dual bio wheel HOB filter
Replaced sponge filter for buried circ system
Replaced air stone and added another
Added some plants

Current fish:
5 long fin Danios
5 Albino Cory's
2 Lamp Eye Tetras
4 Kuhli Loaches 3" or so
25 Ghost Shrimp

I was thinking about adding some other fish, but can't decide. On the list is a couple more Tetras to keep the others company. I'm leery only due to the last time I had a group they were aggressive towards the other fish (at the time, Platys). The other thing I was thinking was maybe a frog, resisted the urge of course when at the LFS but figured I'd get some opinions. And maybe some other suggestions that would be happy in this tank. Don't need to add anything, but if I can safely I will.

Thanks!

Thanks! Gourami's are on the list too, I had some a few years ago and they were cool fish. How many do you think? I know I have some room for more fish, but not exactly sure how much I can get away with without stressing the community.

How about other suggestions?

Up the Lampeye count! They are scholing fish - and 2 is not a school. Watch out - Dwarf gouramis bred in Asia are carrying a virus at the moment called iridivious, and the only way to stop it infecting your tank is to not buy DG's from asia at the moment.

Thanks for the replies.

As for the Lampeyes, I'm assuming that the reason I had issues before were that they were the some of the first occupants in the tank? Maybe that made them a bit territorial. How many should I get, 2 more or do they need 5 total min?

Also, was thinking about upping the Danio count to around 8 or so.

So, question would be, do I have enough room to do 3-4 more Danios and 2-3 more Lampeyes?

Thanks!!!

Edit: Thanks for the info Hatchet Heaven, didn't know that about the Gourami's!

I would say you do have room to up the amount of fish you want, maybe you could up the lampeyes to around 6 that would look cool because then you get to see there proper schooling behaviour .

You should have space to up the Lampeye count to 6 and the Danio count to 8!

If you add glass catfish you need to have 3 minimum. They are very sociable fish and will actually die of loneliness. They like to have a decent current and some shade.

I was actually considering the glass cats, but mostly decided against them just for the fact that I think the others (especially the lampeye's) need some more company. I may get another tank down the road though!!

It is inevitable and impossible to avoid! The MTS beast bites us all at one point or another!
