Stocking guidance

Hi guys,
My first post

I ran the fishless cycle for 2 weeks, then started adding fish step by step.
Have been running it fine with fish for 4 weeks
my tank details are:

Dimensions: 16Lx18Hx12wide (inches)
Capacity: 50Litres

Temperature: 28~29 C
PH: Both Tapwater and Aquarium 8.2
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 12ppm
KH: 3.2

Current stocked with 6 zebra danios and 3 platys.

Please guide me if i can hold any more fish in there?...I really want to add one or two of something....please advice on any type of fish

Small fish. Consider the full grown size. I would go with one or two Cory.

You are overstocked a you are! There is a guideline which is fairly accurate: 1" of full grown fish per gallon. 50litres = 13gals. 6 Zebra danios full grown = 12", 2 Platys full grown - 6". So, that's 18"... Twice weekly water changes should be able to sustain that stock, but NOTHING MORE!

Hi saqib Welcome to Fish Lore.

I agree with Hatchet. Keep your eye on the water parameters.

Good luck, and we love pics, so post some soon.

NOoooo hatchet play say its not true...hehe..just kidding...
i was just hoping to scoop in a molly in there...but im not going to do that anymore....

I change my water after every 2~3 days on a regular basis...so i guess hopefully they would stay strong

welcome to fishlore!! I have an overstocked 75 gal and every other day water changes keep my water parimeters in check...you will be fine as long as you keep up your maintenance...can you get us pics?

I agree with the others. I wouldn't add anything else.
I especially wouldn't add any cories, because they need to have several of their own kind or they get depressed (I've had fish die of loneliness).

Wouldn't it be nice if we could just pack as many of whatever we want in the tank? Hey, we can dream!

That would be wonderful, wouldn't it?

Two weeks is a quick cycle, did you seed your tank with something?

Yeah!
I bought a new filter and put it inside my friend's mature tank to run there for almost 3 weeks..then tool it out and put it in my new tank and started feeding ammonia...it was quick...
i intend on put a new filter in my current to help quicken the process for my new 5foot tank that im currently making myself

guys i seriously am thinking of adding a little bristlenose pleco in thier with my other fish...the only thing stopping me are the earlier replies of my tank being overstocked i guess...but i am having a lot of trouble with brown algae in my tank...ive tried increasing the lighting but didnt help...i was think of getting the stated fish...
can i OOooo can i ....i am sort of new at all this so dont want to make any mistakes...so frankly stop me if you's like to

PS. I change 15% water after every two days..would that help
