I have kept them with ottos, guppies, and plecos but I'm sure that pretty much all the tetras would go well with them (my personal fave tetra is the rummy nose )

No problem, I forget to look at flags all the time.
That's one of the nice things about this site, we're from all over the world and come together with a common interest to help each other.

Well, i bought 3 ADFs all about 3/4 of a centimeter long for a £1.85 each and 6 guppys for my 12gallon tank today.
I also changed the bottom of my tank to aquarium sand as i heard this was better for them.
My tanks has been set up for over 6months now with the filter and heater in place.
They all seem happy together, thank you for all the advice.
I bought a tub of frozen bloodworm and was wondering if any over food was required?

I feed mine HBH Frog Bites, they love them.
I have a little feeding dish for them, this way, they can find the pellets easily, I can make sure they're eating and since mine leave crumbs it's easy to suck them out with a turkey baster.
I wish I had gotten mine at the same time, now I have to wait of the quarantine period before I can put them together.
Congratulations on your new aqua babies, post some pics soon.

James they are small!
I thought mine were still small even now I've had them for some months but I's struggle to find them in my tank!
As for food - they'll eat a couple of bloodworm each day and they'll be fine.
Your main problem is making sure they get the food as your guppies will go for it too.
Try distraction feeding - that works for me...
(i put a block of frozen worms in the tank at one end, and I squish a smaller piece onto the underside of my bogwood decoration - this way the food stays submerged and at an easy height for them to pick at - and the other fish dont find it straight away!)

I but half a block of frozen blood worm in. The guppies attack the cube and the bloodworm falls of, then i feed the guppies a bit of flake after.
Ill hopefully get a few pics in the a few days time as there still a bit jumpy, being in the new tank and all.
Does any body elses ADFs sit at the bottom of their plants? With mine being new i was wondering if their just hiding for now and will become more bold later on.

Good to hear it isn't just mine then.
They must like there new home. One of them was floating around on the surface in the 'Lazy Zen' position. I panicked then lol'd at it.
Also my frogs seem to have and obsession with the intake part of my filter (the bit were the water goes in). Its covered by a mesh with 1.5MM holes so they can't get their limbs stcuk but i was just curious body else have this problem?
Thanks for the help you guys, espcially Lucy and Steve.

Sorry, sometimes I'm not clear. I was wondering if they would gulp too much sand because of the way they eat.
Your welcome James, mine likes to hide behind the extra filter sponge I have stuck in the tank.

What do you mean extra filter sponge?
As in like, putting some filter wool the same as what is on your filter but some where away from the filter? Sorry, is a very awkward way of wording it.

Yes, I keep extra sponges in all my tanks, usually tucked behind the out take of the filter.
The extra one in my frog tank was in one of my 10g's for a few months, when I got the frog, I put the sponge in his tank to seed it.
They come in handy if you have a cycle another tank quickly, like a quarantine tank or that new tank that you just have to have. lol

Ah yes lucy - I get you now.
I have noticed that they 'snap' at food occasionally getting a mouthful of sand but when I look closely they seem to do a good job of spitting it all out. I don't think that they are swallowing the sand. I've had them for a while now and they seem to be fine.
I noticed the other day though that one of my frogs is huge compared to my other one - wonder why... Maybe ♂ / ♀ ? or the other one is just better and finding food -I don't know.
The fat one always seems to be closer to the food when I look into the tank - and I've been trying to fatten the other one up.
Any thoughts...
☺

I just stuff 5x the recommended media amount in so I have enough to cope with any emergency!

Sorry for not replying recently. My internet has been down for a few days.
Unfortunatly all 3 of my frogs passed away during this time All bloated and floating on the surface.
And my sisters wanted my guppies so i had a newly empty tank.
So im now trying my hand at breeding some cichlids (sp?). I bought some today. All i know is what they look like and how big they get and not alot else. Except they like the big twirly shells to breed in. And they cost me £4.85
Once again thanks for all you guys help.

aww, that sucks James - any ideas what happened?
your water ok?
I would think you'll be cycled after 6 months so I've no idea what could have caused them to bloat...
Unless they were sick when you bought them...

I dont know what caused it because my water is fine.
Hopefully in the near future ill get a tank specifically for ADFs.
Im a bit dissapointed i dint even here them sing. I saw one shed its skin which was quite cool but also a little worrying as i hear they shed in one go when healthy but this frogs skin came of in tatters.
Should have seen the signs of them being ill earlier.
