I am looking at getting 2 convict cichlids, 2 firemouth cichlids, a rainbow shark, 6 tiger barbs, a 4" pleco, and maybe a zebra cichlid. Will all this fit in a 55 gallon tank?

I dont know for sure but i think they can go together i did a little research but they seem to be fairly large fish but again i dont know

Yeah. I'm pretty sure they can go together. I'm more concerned about space.

Convict cichlids are too aggressive for that stocking. They are best kept in a species tank.

Zebra cichlids are Africans, which need different conditions than the others.

Well would 2 albino oscars, 2 convicts, and 2 firemouths all fit in a 55g tank?

I"m afraid that a 55 gal is just big enough for one Oscar by itself.

You can't mix convicts with most other cichlids, as they will be killed or harassed to death. They won't hesitate to attack even an Oscar.

A school of Tiger barbs, the Firemouths, a bristlenose pleco or two and the one shark would stock the tank and it would be lively and colourful. These fish, with the exception of the pleco, are all territorial and/or semi-aggressive and need plenty of room.
