Hi everyone, as you all know I cycled my tank fishless and 1 week added 2 White clouds and 2 Zebra Danios. All still alive and now enjoying the tank. Completed a water change and all the readings are ok. I want some advice about stocking, not amounts as I have read and researched but kore about frquency of introducing fish and how many at a time? I believed that you should add fish around 7-10 days apart to give your filter time to adjust and only add 4 fish at most. Is this correct?

Hi mike...I agree with you on that some say 2 fish wait the cple weeks then a few more..so depending on the size of your tank and the kinds of fish you are adding, you will get a different opinion ...congrats on the cycle!!

It does matter some the size of the fish but generally adding a few fish per week won't overload the cycle and allows time to adjust.

I personally wait 10 days between additions, and add only 3 at a time.

What kind of tank is it? Size, I mean. It would be a good idea to fill out your aquarium info (Under 'my settings') because you will get respnses easier and faster!
