alright, so today I found that my neighbor wanted to get rid of his fish tank, so I took it. It was really dirty and the tag on it said it was from 1993! so i cleaned it up using tap water and let it sit out. The tank isnt exactly new, but it'll work (hopefully). Now, if i can find room for it in my room, I was wondering what kind of fish i should get. I want somewhat of a community tank and not just 1 species, unless tiger barbs, them guys are cool! But i would also like to try my hands at having some live plants. So any ideas would be greatly appreciated

I'd get a pair of dwarf cichlids: GBR< Bolivian, Kribs or even a pair of Angelfish , a bristlenose pleco OR 3 to 6 Otos. Possibly some tetra of some sort.

thanks for the ideas Allie! I was reading up on angel fish and i think it might be cool to get just one of those, or is my tank to small? I've also taken a likeing to neon tetras, so i might get a school of those guys. I dont know if i should get a BN pleco or some otos, my LFS has both.

So heres my stock so far:
1 Angelfish (maybe)
6-7 Neon tetras (deffinetly)
BN pleco or 3-4 otos

I'm kind of getting ahead of myself becuase i dont even know where im going to put the tank. . But any and all ideas are welcomed!
