I am currently saving up for a 60 gallon hexagon tank for my angelfish then I am turning my 55 into a planted gourami and rainbowfish tank (it's already got the rainbows).

I would like to have very tall plants in it I know that as well as other fish who prefer taller tanks. No discus please, I may want to try them in the future but right now I am far from ready to keep them. Any suggestions?

I am thinking 2-4 angelfish (I have 3 now) and...well, not sure what else yet. A school of cardinal tetras could add color and increase activity but what else could be good in a hex tank?

P.S. After looking at 56's and 47's, I really think that this tall tank has to be my next buy.

Thanks for the replies. 3 angels? I've got that right now! And I have 8 assorted cories. I suppose for algae I'll add a farowella and/or a couple BN plecos.

I like the pandas cause they stay small, but if you already have cories then you may as well keep them. What kinds do you have? Just make sure they don't get too big. As far as algae goes, I haven't found a fish that beats the bn pleco
