What are some good tankmates for anglefish?

Barbrella

Cordydoras, BN pleco, larger tetras like Bleeding Hearts, Lemon tetras or Diamond tetras, any of the smaller Rainbow fish, hachetfish and cherry or gold barbs would all be nice.

Stay away from aggressive fin nippers like Tiger barbs or tetras like Serpaes or Skirts.

Good, I was planning to get cherry barbs, and now Im thinking about getting an angelfish. Would platies and danios be ok with them?

Platies would be fine...possibly danios (not sure if they will nip the angels fins or not). I had diamond tetra, lemon tetra, black skirts and pristella with mine at one point.
