29G Tall Idea

Thought of this an hour or so ago and thought I would post it on here.

Basically I want to take a piece of 2-3 pieces driftwood. Screw them onto 2-3"
wide pieces of plexi or wood and place that on the tank, under the hood.
Giving it the effect that there are trees coming out of the water. The brace
prevents the driftwood from being damaged by the bottom and makes it more
stable and easy to handle/move.

I plan on having a whole bunch of java moss and java fern covering the "roots". A few smaller plants as well. Like dwarf chain sword and a few rotala indica or val scattered.

Fish stock:

Option A:
6- Corydoradinae catfish (not sure which species yet)
1- Male Pearl Gourami
1- Female Pearl Gourami

Option B:
1- Male albino longfin bristlenose pleco
1- Female albino longfin bristlenose pleco
7- Tiger barbs

Option C:
3- Otocinclus
10- Cardinal tetras

Option D:
You suggest

Tell me what you think and what stocking plan.

I am in the process actually of making a 'forest' as you described for in a betta tank. I am making it for in a tank, so there are 'trees' for Murphy to swim in. I have about 6-7 sticks that I am boiling as we talk.

I like option C. I think that Cardinals are the bomb of tetras.

Just be sure the wood is all smooth for your Betta.

I like B since I'm partial to the albino LFBNs.

Long fin albinos and cardinals.

Though all three options would make a very good looking tank.

I'd add an angelfish to Option C: just one. That would look great.
3- Otocinclus
but 5 Cardinal tetras
