Welcome to Fishlore

If you can let us know a little bit more about what you are looking for fishwise, we can give you some good ideas. Schooling fish, colors, bottom dwellers, etc............

Well I'd prefer some active fish but I'm not picky . I was thinking about a few zebra danios when I cycle the tank.

Hi psacobie,
Welcome to FishLore.

I hope you meant AFTER you cycle the tank. It is much more humane and less work to cycle without fish.

It also means you have plenty of time to research fish you might like.
I have neon and serpae tetra. They are active, colorful and never bothered my shrimp.

I think some male fancy guppies would look very nice. But if you want females as well then its 2 females to 1 male ratio. If you just get males they wont overstock your tank. Maybe some platy as well but same thing go for males or population overload. And for bottom guys a group of cories. They actually are pretty active.
