Okay, so now that I have this 29 gal up and running, I'm thinking about what fish should be in there when it's ready. Here's what I'm thinking -- please let me know if this *should* work, or if I need to make adjustments
-2 Pearl Gourami, m/f pair (looked at Gold Gourami, but am afraid they will be too big/mean)
-7
neon tetra
-7 Harlequin Rasabora
-3 Oto Cat
-1 true SAE (if I can find one)
-A few ghost shrimp (I think my PG's might occasionally nab one, but hopefully not too often)
-Malaysian Trumpet Snails
I though about just doing like 11 HR, but I already have 2 Neons and I don't want them to be all alone.
It'll be a medium planted tank w/ low-med light and hopefully no CO2, as well as
driftwood (already in there) and a stack of rocks with different sized openings so the shrimp have a place to hide when molting. Hopefully getting the plants this weekend, so I should be able to start adding fish (algae eaters) in 3 weeks I think. Starting to quarantine fish now in preparation.
I'm having trouble finding female Pearl Gourami -- if these guys will work in here, any suggestions on finding a girl?
Thanks so much for your guys' help -- don't know where I'd be without you all!
Edit: Adding tank specs to my aquarium info, in case anything else is needed.
